Super friendly and clean. I ask for low arch with medium thick brows and she did one brow, gave me a preview to make sure it was what I wanted and continued. I have a little bald spot on my left eyebrow and they made it look like it doesnt exist at all. Great service, will come again.

They do a great job BUT make sure you call before heading over!! They step out A LOT without notice and at random so the last thing you want is to show up and theyre not there. They come back but by sometimes youre running other errands and cant wait for them to return. CALL BEFORE HEADING OVER
This was my second time coming back to this place after a long time to get my eyebrows threaded and the results were great! I was so pleased with how my eyebrows turned out! My eyebrows look polished and clean. The lovely lady who works there listened to what shape I wanted my eyebrows to be and she delivered! She also made sure before finishing to get rid of any other hairs that were missed. Definitely will be coming back!

I love coming here to get my eyebrows threaded and have been doing so for five years now. I promise you wont find anyone who can do it better than these ladies! The salon is clean and cozy; sometimes there is a wait because of the popularity but otherwise you are in and out in what feels like five minutes. Bismillah is super gentle, does an exceptional job, and gives you exactly what you ask for! I will keep coming here as long as they are open

She did what needed to be done. One of the best threading Ive had. Eyebrows looked so amazing and she didnt take off too much hair and kept them thick. Very rare to get a really good eyebrow professional and my usual aunty was out of her shop.
The staff is so professional and kind. She did a great job on my brows. She let me know how unequal they were and corrected it. They look wonderful!

Karma eyebrows is the only place I go to get my threading done. I moved to the area 2 years ago and after months of traveling to get my eyebrows done at my old place I decided to try Karma and have been going here ever since. Before my first service here I called and spoke to Bimala, who despite being very busy, took time to answer all of my questions and was very nice and professional. My first service was wonderful and every service after has never disappointed. I get eyebrow threading and after awhile started doing upper lip threading too and I always look and feel great after my visit. The salon is clean and cozy. Bimala is amazingly talented with threading and does it quickly, but never losing quality. She has also trained her new staff well, Ive had threading done by them too on occasion. The salon can get very busy at times because everyone walks in, but Ive never had a problem waiting. During COVID, Ive never had any concerns about coming here, all possible precautions are taken. I would recommend Karma to anyone and have taken my friends here as well.

I have very thick eyebrows and my worry is loosing my shape or have short eyebrows but with Velma that was never a issue, I also do not know how to fill my eyebrows but with the tinting or henna I feel like a Vogue model. I moved to the area 2 years ago and after months of traveling to get my eyebrows done at my old place I decided to try Karma and have been going here ever since. Before my first service here I called and spoke to Bimala, who despite being very busy, took time to answer all of my questions and was very nice and professional. My first service was wonderful and every service after has never disappointed. I get eyebrow threading and after awhile started doing upper lip threading too and I always look and feel great after my visit. The salon is clean and cozy. Bimala is amazingly talented with threading and does it quickly, but never losing quality. She has also trained her new staff well, Ive had threading done by them too on occasion. The salon can get very busy at times because everyone walks in, but Ive never had a problem waiting. During COVID, Ive never had any concerns about coming here, all possible precautions are taken. I would recommend Karma to anyone and have taken my friends here as well.

One of my girlfriends referred me to Velma I believe July 2018, I been going to her ever since. I have very thick eyebrows and my worry is loosing my shape or have short eyebrows but with Velma that was never a issue, I also do not know how to fill my eyebrows but with the tinting or henna I feel like a Vogue model. Very friendly staff, good customer service.
I haven't had my eyebrows threaded since leaving LA because I am very picky when it comes to them, they're already thin hehe. However, a friend referred me. Bimala did a excellent job with clean up and making them look similar to one another. She was also very pleasant, I'll definitely be going back!

Very skilled and professional henna service! Each hand took about 30 minutes and I love the way it turned out. I finished/left the salon, waited 2 hours for it to dry and then I flaked it off. It has lasted 7 days so far and has just begun to fade. I received lots of compliments on my henna and will return for services for any future events!

We were looking for a good eyebrow threading place in Bowie and we definitely found one! The location is within a salon plaza, which I didn't notice beforehand but the space was clean and professional. My sister and I both got our brows threaded and the staff were polite, professional and thorough. They made sure to ask about the shape we wanted and ensured we were happy with their work.

Another plus is that it was barely painful at all! Personally I've had some painful threading experiences and they did an excellent job. Again, very professional and well done. We'll be coming back again soon & definitely recommend.

Eyebrow threading was $10 per person, also a good price. Check it out!

Very clean & friendly. I went on a Monday & there so no wait. I was in and out in a jiffy. And most importantly, my brows looked great! Lasted about two and a half weeks, will be returning tomorrow.
5/17 was my birthday and these ladies started it off beautifully. I've never had henna and always thought it was beautiful. Today was my day!!! My cousin and I decided to make the trip to Lanham and visit them. Once inside the plaza (which is very beautiful and clean) the ladies are the in the second room from the main entrance. When we got there they were packed so we decided to go see what else the plaza had to offer us. We stumbled across NikkyNails who I follow on IG who does amaze-balls nails but she is by Appointment Only, so we decided to try again next time with Nikky and just go have lunch while we waited on the ladies at Karma. Once we returned we were greeted and seated. Both ladies are awesome, very soft spoken but full of life. My cousin and I let the lady design whatever was in her heart (since this was both of our first times.) And baaaaayyyyyBeeee!!! She kill both of our designs!!!!! Will return soon for the eyebrow experience and more henna. If you stop by tell them Tiffanie and Maya (Love) suggested you!!
Bimala did an amazing job with my eyebrows!! I have curly eyebrows and have tried threading before but mostly waxing. I've dealt with years of people saying they couldn't help me because my brows are too curly but Bimala was confident and capable. Love her and will continue to go back!

Came here after finding them on Instagram. They seemed to have the marketing part with enough photos to move me to drive from silver spring to Annapolis road lol. Plenty of parking, easy to find.It was quiet, with only the tv playing. I came to get my eyebrows threaded, tinted and some henna on my hand. She got right to work.... she seemed comfortable with what I was asking. I think she could sense my hesitation and asked me was it my first time ... it was .. she was polite and confident in her work.... didn't talk much (which was fine with me). She explained to me the henna process and completed my henna. I was overall very pleased. The prices were posted and I felt like a got a great deal for the services.

I will say the henna on my brows is darker than I thought. Don't plan anything for the rest of the day. It needs time to lighten. Not her fault , and she did explain that to me but just an FYI to anyone reading this review. My brow shape is perfect !

TIP: if your eyebrows are messed up, stick with one threader for a period of 4-6 months and you'll see a more even shape, especially with Bimala! I came to her with pencil thin and uneven eyebrows from being over waxed. You can't keep jumping from threader to threader and expect a miracle. The hair needs time to grow out and be reshaped over and over to get the desired look. Bimala will do this for you and she's so good at it!

Wonderful place for threading and henna. While I've never personally gotten henna, I've watched it be done on several patrons. All patrons I've spoken with who have had it done before say they enjoy it and keep coming back for more. Bimala is kind and gentle with threading. She makes the process enjoyable and is very swift yet thorough. My hair doesn't grow back as fast as others but I come every other month. Since I've started coming to Bimala, I haven't gone to anyone else. If I have to move, I'll be sad knowing how hard it is to find someone as great as her.

The shop is very clean and always smells great. I never worry about bacteria, mold or other issues.

One year update: Bimala is still my favorite. Her shop is expanding and I love seeing her grow! She's hired some help so wait times slowed for awhile but it all depends on the day because it seems she's getting more customers. Ladies, there's a wait because she's worth it! I still recommend her and trust me when I say I have the most sensitive skin. My whole face will turn red from just threading my eyebrows - Bimala always says something but she never hurts me or makes me feel uncomfortable. Give her a try! You won't be disappointed!

Karma Eyebrow Threading and Henna Shop came highly recommended by my cousin. I’ve been wanting to get some henna tattoos for a while now. I love the culture and what the tattoos represent and they’re soooo beautiful. These ladies are very talented and true artists. One hand was completely her freestyle design and the other was inspired by a picture in their Instagram page. I was nervous because I couldn’t envision how they would look the next day. The ladies had me come back to the shop and explained to me how the body heats up when we sleep and the heat makes the Henna dye darker. Well they were right and knowledgeable. They’re even more prettier the next day. Thanks for the aftercare instructions also. I’m hooked for life and their prices are so reasonable. And the walk in policy makes it easier to fit into my busy schedule. I saw the young lady who’s working with the owner. Anyway, I’m a customer for life!!!

I started getting my eyebrows threaded a few month ago. And I have been struggling! I have thin and sparse eyebrows, so it has always been difficult finding someone who properly knows how to shape my eyebrows.
After coming to Karma eyebrow threading I'm not sure I'll go anywhere else. These two women take such good care of you when you walk in. The space is clean, and they are very friendly and welcoming. They take their time and make sure you like what you get. Not to mention they are efficient!

I got a threading and eyebrow tints, and a beautiful ring from a set that she was showcasing from a handmade collection.

This establishment is amazing! It has been over a year since I had gotten my eyebrows done, because the last place thinned them out. I expressed this to Bimala that I was nervous, and was still in the process of growing out my brows and just wanted to clean them up a bit. She asked me some follow up questions, and let me know my options/explained them clearly. This let me know she valued me as a customer and what I was looking to achieve as opposed to what she though would look good (problem in the past with other eyebrow places). At the end of the service I was incredibly satisfied! My eyebrows were cleaned up, but I could see where she had left some hair because I was growing out my brows. Now I can go out being confident with my brows while they are still growing. I will be back, and I can't wait!

Bimla is amazing !!! She's quick and painless (it's still threading guys so it does hurt but she doesnt kill you). She's super sweet and gracious. You go in and wait you're turn and she takes her time and treats you like you're the only there.

I am so impressed! I'm not just saying this, but this is the best my brows ever looked. They grow uneven and sparse so most threaders don't know what to do with them; so they make them obnoxiously thin to even them out. Im looking at my brows now, they're still full and relatively even. This is one of the few times the google reviews were right.

I loved it, it’s right up the street from my house, I’m glad I don’t have to travel to Arundel or Annapolis to get my brows threaded anymore. So happy I found her!! I have sensitive skin and usually my skin bumps up right after threading but because she used antiseptic, antibacterial liquids on my brows afterwards and actually massaged it into my skin I didn’t break out. She was EXTREMELY sweet and gentle while threading my eyebrows. I loved how she took her time, pulled one hair at a time, and would often pause to check the shape and symmetry. My previous eyebrow threader was so rough and fast (I didn't know it then because she's the only 1 I had been to lol), and so because of that, my eyebrows would turn out nicely shaped, but ALWAYS uneven. Here, she not only fixed the previous thread job, but she gave my uneven eyebrows perfect symmetry AND kept them thick. I will definitely keep going back!

I found this place through Google and reading reviews and figured I give it a try after a previous place messed up my brow shape. I showed Bimala an old picture of myself and how I wanted my eyebrows and she did just that.

Wonderful place for threading and henna. While I've never personally gotten henna, I've watched it be done on several patrons. All patrons I've spoken with who have had it done before say they enjoy it and keep coming back for more. Bimala is kind and gentle with threading. She makes the process enjoyable and is very swift yet thorough. My hair doesn't grow back as fast as others but I come every other month. Since I've started coming to Bimala, I haven't gone to anyone else. If I have to move, I'll be sad knowing how hard it is to find someone as great as her.

The shop is very clean and always smells great. I never worry about bacteria, mold or other issues.

I usually drive 20 minutes to get my brows threaded and stumbled across this new spot on yelp. I am very particular about my brows and explained this to Bimala before she began. First of all she is very gentle and makes sure you are comfortable. The other thing I love about her is she takes her time to perfect your brows. She had two other clients waiting, and she threaded and tinted my brows with perfection. I will no longer be driving 20 minutes away.

I had a great experience with Bimala! I had been growing my eyebrows out since March due to thinning after a previously bad threading experience. My eyebrows have always been thick and full until being thinned! Bimala did a great job of maintaining the thickness and shape. She also took her time and made sure throughout that it was what I wanted. After waiting for months to thread, Bimala definitely help me regain my previous thick brows!

I adore her !! She listens to what I want and is so talented. It took me 3 years to trust anyone with my eyebrows since I moved to maryland. I love nice straight lines and no curves where they dont belong. She does that and she doesnt over thread. If I had messed up my brows doing my own thing she will ask if she should or leave it to grow and I love that about her. I need all that trust. Shes quick efficient and a sweet heart. She is always available and I've never had a wait. Her work place is always clean and accessible.

I can't put into words the joy I experienced when I found out there is a threading salon so close to home!! And to top it off, Bimla is so good at what she does!

I recently found out about this place and went right away. Seriously, I dropped what I was doing and met my friend there within 20 minutes. There wasn't much of a wait so my friend and I were taken pretty quickly. Bimla did an amazing job! It's really hard for me to trust someone new with my eyebrows since I've had so many bad experiences in the past, but Bimla made me feel comfortable from the beginning. When I saw my eyebrows at the end, I was absolutely pleased! She even came up with a plan for my friend who is trying to grow out her eyebrows to make them thicker. She patiently explained how she'll thread moving forward to make sure the eyebrows have a chance to grow out while still looking neat.

I was so happy with Bimla that I took my mom a few days later and she's so happy with her eyebrows as well. We'll be visiting Bimla every time we need our eyebrows done!
I found this gem here on Yelp! I mean when is it we ever find a business with 5 stars straight all around. She is located in a salon plaza and is one of the first spaces as soon as you walk in. When I walked in Bimala was doing a Henna tattoo, it was gorgeous! She greeted me as soon as I walked in and suggested I have a seat and she would be right with me.
It was my turn! I told her this was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded. She took great care of me! She asked me how I like my eyebrows and listened! She gave me suggestions on care and kinda gave me an overview of what it would feel like and so forth. She kept great conversation the whole time which is HUGE to me because I hate going to places and who you're being serviced by doesn't speak to you and it's awkward lol.

I usually go to the Aldi in this shopping center. I'm new to this area and I've gotten my eyebrows done at Rose Nails (in the same shopping center). Lately though, I haven't been happy with the eyebrow waxing. They just rush through it and it never looks good. I still get my nails done there but eyebrow waxing has definitely gone downhill.

Today I was walking to my car and saw a sign that said Salon Plaza. I've never been to a Salon Plaza before but I saw they had several locations. It's a place full of all these mini salons. They have people doing hair, nails and many other services. As soon as I walked in I saw an eyebrow threading salon. It is the first salon on the left as soon as you walk in. The lady was so friendly, nice smile and asked me to come in. She had someone in her chair but told me I was welcome to sit and I would be next.

Her name is Bimala!! And let me tell you, this has been such a blessing! I haven't gotten my eyebrows done in a long time because after the last time I got them waxed they were so thin I decided I needed them to grow out. I really thought I would just have to do them myself.

I saw the lady when Bimala was finished and she had beautiful, perfectly done eyebrows! You would think they were done with an eyebrow pencil. I knew I was in good hands!

Bimala understood what I wanted and respected the fact that I did not want them thin.

I am so happy I found her today and I will definitely be coming to see her from now on. Her prices are very reasonable and she is so pleasant. Visit her and I'm sure you will feel the same way.

I recently moved to the area and was looking for someone to help me get my brows back in shape (I'd neglected them for months). I found this place on yelp and I'm glad I did! The space is clean and well maintained. And the owner is amazing. She is easy to communicate with--which means EVERYTHING when you're working with someone new on your face! I explained how I like my brows to look (natural, not too thin, keeping the natural arch) and she went to work. She was deliberate and patient. After she's gotten them about 85% complete, she paused and asked how I thought things were shaping up and what adjustments she suggested she make. Usually, threaders will just do what they think without regard for how you want you face to look! She was great and prices were awesome! I've found my brow home.

Finally found Bimala! She used to work out of a location in Laurel so I was already familiar with her threading work before coming.
She's great with cleaning up the perimeter and accentuating the brows natural shape, as well as maintaining the thickness of the brow (which I prefer) .
After 4 visits, the 5th is free. So that's a plus for those of you who do your eyebrows more frequently.

I have gotten my eyebrows waxed in the past and there has been multiple times where I did not like how they left my brows. For that reason, I tweezed my own eyebrows for a while since I was scared to let someone else mess them up. I only know how to clean up my brows, but not shape them. Eventually, I reached a point where I wanted to go get them done so someone could shape them.

I have threaded my eyebrows once in the past and remembered that I really liked how my brows looked. I searched for threading services in my area and found this place on google. Once I arrived I was welcomed and taken care of. I brought my sister with me and after seeing me get my brows done, she decided to get hers done too! She loved how her brows looked after. We were both nervous about how the lady was going to shape them because of our past experience with waxing, but we both are so happy we found this place! She did such a great a job! Now we can keep returning with the confidence that our expectations will be met. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. Prices are reasonable. The lady is very gentle and makes sure you are comfortable. The place is in a suite, so it may be a little hard to find. You could always call her if you need help finding it.
I just went to see Bimala for eyebrow threading and I love her work. I have an issue with my wings from over waxing. I have been trying to grow them back so I haven’t waxed in 3-4 months. Bimala took very good care of my eyebrows and helped re-shape them. Now it’s harder to see I have an issue with my wings. I will be coming back to see her regularly because I can tell she will help me get my eyebrows back to where they need to be.
